It includes books and magazines, sources of quotations, words of songs, and I shall probably add more esoterica as time goes by. (According to someone all of mankind has two unanswered questions:- "What is it ALL about, what am I doing here, what is the purpose of it all?" and "What is a good, reliable aphrodisiac?" I am interested in discovering the source of this quotation (and its exact correct wording) but not necessarily the answers to the questions as [A] "The Hitch-Hikers' Guide to the Galaxy" tells me that the answer to the first is 42, and [B] I have always understood that the best aphrodisiac known is champagne, given to a woman who knows how much it costs.)
Unless otherwise indicated I am looking for books and magazines because I want to read them, not for aesthetic reasons. I am not, therefore, interested in high-priced first editions or autographed copies (I don't mind first editions or autographs, but I'm not prepared to pay much of a premium for them).

I have been reading SF since I was about 10 years old and have accumulated ASF (Analog/Astounding Science Fiction) Magazine almost complete since the end of WWII (British Edition 1946-63, US Edition thereafter).
